Your hot tub or sauna is going to stand there safely for many years. That means the site has to be ready before we arrive. Here is what you need to know.

How large a base does a hot tub need?

A hot tub is approx. 2 metres in external diameter. The decking must therefore be at least 2 × 2 metres.

We recommend 3 × 4 metres. That gives you room for the steps and space to walk around the tub.

How much must the decking bear?

A hot tub holds approx. 1 200 litres of water. The decking must take the tub filled with water — and the people sitting in it as well.

What does a sauna stand on?

Who lifts it off the trailer?

We drive up with a lorry and a flatbed trailer, as close as we can get. The crane lorry or tractor for the lift is for you to arrange. It is often cheapest to use someone local, and many customers sort it out themselves.

Yes, we can help you with decking and foundations. Request a quote and tell us where the hot tub or sauna is going to stand, and we will give you a price.

Do this before we arrive

• Prepare a base of at least 2 × 2 metres for the hot tub — preferably 3 × 4 metres.
• Check that the decking will take a hot tub filled with approx. 1 200 litres of water.
• For the sauna: make sure the pad foundations are in place.
• Book a crane lorry or tractor for the lift, or agree who is doing the lifting.
