How your sauna gets to you
All our hot tubs and saunas are made to order in Flå in Hallingdal. The route from placing your order to sitting in hot water therefore runs through a few set steps. Here is how it works — and the answer to the question we are asked most of all: who lifts it off the trailer?
Four steps from order to first bath
1. We build it
Nothing sits waiting in a warehouse. Once the order is confirmed, we start production in the workshop at Austsidevegen 901 in Flå. The hot tubs have a lead time of approx. 4–6 weeks. For saunas, we agree the lead time when we confirm the order.
2. We drive it to you
We deliver with a lorry and flatbed trailer, and we drive as close to the spot as we can get. We let you know approx. a week before delivery, so you have time to arrange things with whoever is helping you with the lift.
If there is anything unusual about the site — a steep road, a narrow entrance, or a long way from where the vehicle can stand — tell us when you order. Then we can work out a solution together, rather than discovering it on the day of delivery.
3. You arrange the crane or tractor
This is the point people wonder about most, so we will say it plainly: a crane lorry or tractor for the lift itself is something you have to arrange yourself.
The reason is simple. A crane lorry driving from Flå to your cabin costs more than one that is already nearby. It is almost always cheapest to use someone local. Plenty of customers handle the lift entirely on their own, with a tractor or with enough people to carry it.
Whoever does the lifting needs to know how heavy your model is, how far it has to be moved, and whether there is any difference in height along the way. Ask us for the weight of the model you have chosen, and you will have the figure ready before you book the crane.
4. The stove is connected, and you light it
A hot tub with a liner can be used as soon as the stove is connected. If you have chosen an electric stove for the sauna, the electrical work is carried out by certified electricians.

What does the delivery cost?
Delivery is free within 60 km of Flå. That covers a large part of Hallingdal and the areas around it.
If you live further away, we send with Apollo. The freight is calculated by weight and volume, and you get the total price including freight from us before you pay anything. If there is anything unusual about the site, we always find a good solution together.
Can I collect it myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at Austsidevegen 901 in Flå. Arrange a time with us in advance.
For a hot tub, an ordinary trailer is enough. That saves you both the freight and the wait on delivery day, and if you live nearby it is often the simplest solution.
Do this before we arrive
The base has to be ready before delivery day. A hot tub needs a deck of at least 2 × 2 metres — we recommend 3 × 4 metres, so that there is room for the steps and for walking round. The saunas stand on point foundations, and those have to be in place.
A short checklist before we set off:
- The base is finished, level and will take the weight.
- A crane, a tractor or enough people for the lift is arranged.
- You know exactly where the hot tub or the sauna is going.
- The route in is passable for a vehicle with a trailer.

When it arrives
Check as soon as you can that the delivery matches your order confirmation, and that nothing has been damaged in transit. Transport damage has to be reported to the carrier straight away, and ideally to us at the same time.
After that there is really only one thing left to do: light the stove.
